France - Chambreteau, La Rochelle, Bordeaux to Biscarrosse

The back of the dune continues to move and encroach of the forest behind it. This is steeper that it looks so I was very surprised that Pete, normally afraid of heights, was OK to pose for this shot! I was hoping not to start slipping down or I might have had tonnes of sand on top of me and worse still, I might have had to climb back up again! Our exercise was well and truly done for today.
